Designed for two. Muller Van Severen at Viaduct

One of the highlights of the London Design Festival was the Muller Van Severen furniture exhibition at Viaduct's Clerkenwell showroom.  Renowned for hosting some of the best design shows the Viaduct space is perfect for this collection inspired by geometry and responding to function and the space they inhabit.

Designed by artist/designers Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen the lightweight frames trace beautiful geometric forms and the raw steel, mixed with leather and a palette of warm colours, and occupy the space wonderfully.  There's a subtlety and lightness to the detailing and these simple forms enable a surprisingly wide ranger of uses with many designed for two.

It's too late to see it now but Viaduct have a wonderful video interview with the artists responsible for this delightful collection.  See it here.
