Boxes

Designed by Boston architects NADAAA, Aesop Fillmore Street draws inspiration from pre-twentieth century apothecaries. All the boxes are bespoke, their size depend of the product shown inside. The result is a geometric and graphic wall where we can feel the relation between space and product.

Forever

This installation of Ai Weiwei is composed of 760 bicycles, they are all produced by "Forever" china's most common bicycle brand. The relation with mass manufacturing in China becomes evident, is this a metaphor of the fabrication of China?

Cabane concept

The project began with a foldable wooden structure found in an antique market in the north of Scotland. Fabrica Design Studio was inspired to re-interpret this structure in different contemporary contexts.
The project was launched at Fuorisalone 2011, in Corso di Porta Vittoria (Salone del Mobile, 12-17 April 2011).

Ready made curtain

French designer Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat come up with a DIY kit for making curtains. The hanging cord winds up like a guitar string.
"Little skill and few tools are needed, margin for error has
been considered and perfection isn’t an absolute requirement,in fact, the charm of the imperfect in opposition to the overly sanitised interior is something we
believe in." they explain.
We like the simplicity of the project, it's clever, minimalist, and it can be ajusted to fit any width of window.
